Building Remediation & Upgrades

The property at 2 Monash Parade, Dee Why is a Northern Beaches landmark with an extensive history and enviable location. 

This residential building’s coastal setting, limited maintenance and original construction methods unfortunately resulted in the deterioration of the structure and appearance.  

Engaged by the body corporate, JXB were tasked to complete remedial, structural, upgrade and fit out works with the goal to modernise and future proof the property.

Located on Dee Why point, one of the Northern Beaches Busiest thoroughfares, JXB maintained safe pedestrian and vehicle traffic management for the duration. Spanning 3 years, 4 levels and 26 units, remedial works included concrete balcony demolition and replacement, waterproofing and tiling, glazed balustrades, sliding doors and windows. Building upgrades were completed to the façade, lobby, lift, laundries, garage, services, and landscaping.

These works provided a significant return on the owner’s investment, dramatically improved the properties amenity and further enhanced the buildings landmark status on Dee Why’s beachfront, thus, satisfying the project brief.
