FIRE SERVICES UPGRADE
JXB Projects were engaged to complete an urgent fire upgrade at Chullora Industrial Estate.
The existing fire sprinkler system servicing Warehouse 2 relied on Sydney Water town mains, connected to site wide sprinkler booster pumps. The available pressure from the town mains no longer satisfied the incoming tenants sprinkler requirements.
The supply and installation of a 410,000 Litre water storage tank and two new diesel pumps was needed to meet the incoming tenant’s requirements. Extensive ground works, piering and hardstand works were completed to support the new water tank and booster pumps. These works were completed on a tight site while occupied. We worked with Goodman and the existing tenants to minimise disruption during the works.
JXB Projects overcame an extremely tight timeframe, along with supply constraints to deliver this project on time, prior to Christmas 2022.
